The Andrews Impact Foundation bridges the gap in Parkinson's disease care by funding specialized training for the healthcare professionals who treat it. Through our W.A.D.E. Initiative, we provide grants to graduate students, practicing rehab professionals, and nurses to help them earn certifications like LSVT BIG, LSVT LOUD, and CNRN — placing more qualified specialists directly into communities where Parkinson's care is hardest to find.
-
We fund three groups:
Students — final-year Physical, Occupational, and Speech-Language Pathology graduate students seeking LSVT certification before graduation
Rehab Professionals — practicing therapists pursuing LSVT BIG or LSVT LOUD certification
Nurses — registered nurses pursuing the Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) credential
Visit our Grants page for full eligibility details for each track.

Applications are accepted on a rolling monthly basis. Submit your application by the last day of the month; our review board evaluates all current applications during the first two weeks of the following month, and applicants are notified by the 15th. You can start an application from our Grants page.

We're committed to keeping our overhead low so your donation goes where it matters most. Our goal is to direct at least 85 cents of every dollar donated straight to our mission — covering certification and exam fees like LSVT BIG/LOUD registration and CNRN exam costs for our grantees. The remaining portion supports the essential operating costs of running the Foundation responsibly, such as grant administration and compliance.

Yes, we welcome international donors. Please note that tax-deductibility rules vary by country, so we recommend checking with a local tax advisor about how a donation to a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) applies to you.
